Maria Bello, Jason Patric and Danny Huston are set to topline the thriller “Downloading Nancy,” about the fatal attraction between a woman and a man she hires to kill her. Commercial and music video helmer Johan Renck is making his directorial debut on the project, with production starting February 9th in Regina, Saskatchewan. Lee Ross and Pamela Cuming penned the screenplay, that focuses on Nancy (Bello), an unhappy wife who, instead of committing suicide, meets a man over the Internet who agrees to kill her. Problems arise when they form a relationship.
Bello, will then segue onto “The Yellow Handkerchief,” an old-fashioned love story starring Kristen Stewart and William Hurt - who was originally attached to topline “Downloading Nancy”. Udayan Prasad is attached to direct the film, scheduled to beginning filming in Louisiana in April. The script follows three strangers, bound by loneliness, who embark on a road trip through Louisiana that takes each of them on an inner journey and leads them to find their resolution through love.
