Anna travels all the way to Dublin, Ireland to propose to her boyfriend Jeremy on February 29, leap day. According to Irish legend a man who is proposed to on a leap day must accept. While midflight to Dublin, there is a storm and they must divert to Cardiff.

Anna enlists the help of a surly Irish innkeeper, Declan, to make an unexpected cross-country trek across land and water to pull off the perfect proposal in time but will Anna change her mind along the way?
