Christopher Charles Mintz-Plasse is an American actor.
Tthe son of Ellen Mintz, a school counselor, and Ray Plasse, a mailman. Mintz-Plasse is Jewish and was raised in West Hills, California. He attended El Camino Real High School from 2003 to 2007, and was tutored on the set of Superbad.
Mintz-Plasse acted in drama classes from the first grade until his senior year in high school, before appearing in Superbad. He was cast in the role of Fogell, after auditioning with two high school friends. His mother was required by law to be on set while filming his sex scene in Superbad because he was only 17 years old at the time of filming.
In 2008, he had a cameo on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, singing in the chorus during the segment "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck".
Mintz-Plasse next appeared opposite Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott in the David Wain film Role Models, and performed voiceover work for the animated film How to Train Your Dragon. In April 2010, he appeared in Kick Ass as the superhero Red Mist, a.k.a. Chris D'Amico.
