Christopher "Chris" Lowell (born on October 17, 1984) is an American actor.
In 1999 he was discovered and, after going through his first major audition, he landed a role on the ABC drama Life As We Know It. Of the show's trio of male characters, Lowell portrayed Jonathan Fields, the "least confident but most creative and grounded of the three". However, the series was cancelled after only 13 episodes.
Besides a role in a small film entitled You Are Here in early 2006, Lowell did not have any major roles between when Life As We Know It ended in early 2005 and summer 2006, when he was cast as Stosh "Piz" Piznarski in the third season of Veronica Mars. In the series, Lowell plays a student at Hearst College, and the roommate of Veronica's friend Wallace. Through this, Piz becomes friends with Veronica and is perceived as a threat to the relationship of Veronica and Logan. Towards the end of the third season, when Logan and Veronica split, Piz proves to be a welcome distraction to Veronica.
C-Lo, as his friends call him, has also appeared in the film Graduation. Lowell is currently a co-star in the ABC drama Private Practice. The pilot aired in the US on May 3, 2007, as an episode of Grey's Anatomy.
Lowell is also the vocalist and harmonicist for the indie acoustic band Two Shots for Poe.
